Your Best Self is Waiting... Show up!

Hey Lights,

I woke up today feeling renewed... I know that's probably a little melodramatic but that's the only other word I can use to describe what I'm currently feeling right now. last night I got the chance to go to my very first event. I became aware of this event through a friend that I had literally just met a few weeks ago; I saw that she shared it in her story and the rest as they say was history.

I got a chance to see and hear from women who are very much queens in their own right; each woman had a story to tell, and listening to them tell their stories ignited a fire deep within me. I loved the fact that they were able to speak about their experiences in life and not feel bad or make those very same experiences leave them in a stagnant place.

I often feel as though my blog won't succeed and it can be very debilitating when you work so hard on something and there's no reward in sight. Last night was a reminder, that I should believe in my work, I should keep working on my craft, and most importantly I should be seeking GOD by praying day in and day out.

7 Things that stuck:

  1. Passion, Practice, Purpose

  2. Affirmations

  3. Sacrifice

  4. Pray & Seek God always

  5. Relinquish control

  6. Let Go of the deadweight & bet on you!

  7. Romans 8 26-30

I hope you guys enjoyed reading this post and I hope you all have a phenomenal week. Always remember that you are blessed and highly favored.

Until next time Kings and Queens!
